TCSCAAA volunteers helped staff the command post for a "Jon Sting" conducted by Austin Police Department's NE Street Respons unit. Set in an area where prostitution is a familiar sight, APD officers arrested over a dozen suspects in the course of a long evening. Volunteers took identification photos of the suspects, processed booking sheets, and completed other arrest-related paperwork including maintaining the log.We can't tell you much and photos are few. TCSCAAA again demonstrated that our volunteers are a force multiplie, freeing up sworn personnel to perform duties that only they can do.
